LENA C. REGGENTINE --
HOPKINTON - Funeral services
for Mrs. Lena C. Reggentine, 83,
were held Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. at St.
Luke's Catholic church, Hopkinton.
Interment was in Sacred Heart
cemetery, Monticello.
Mrs. Reggentine died at Good
Neighbor home, Manchester, Nov.
21 after several weeks illness. She
was born near Monticello Dec. 19,
1889, daughter of Arthur and
Fannie Oeschger Grim (sic).
She received her early education
in the schools near Monticello. She
was married to Charles Reggentine
Feb. 20, 1917. The couple
farmed for eight years before
moving to Hopkinton.
Mrs. Reggentine taught in the
Delaware county schools for many
years and was also an area
correspondent for several weekly
and daily papers including the
Monticello Express, until her
retirement a few years ago.
She is survived by her husband
and a sister, Mrs. Herman Welter,
Monticello.
Casketbearers were Orville,
Andrew, Ron, Lyle and Virgil
Offerman and Victor Wilson.
