LESTER CRIM -- MONTICELLO -- Funeral services for Lester Crim, 74, of Luzerne were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic church. Burial was in Sacred Heart cemetery. Mr. Crim died Aug. 18 while visiting his son in Madison, Wis. He was born July 7, 1898, at Monticello, the son of Arthur and Fannie Oeschger Crim. He was postmaster at Luzerne before retiring and was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include a son, William of Madison, Wis.; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Lena) Reggentine of Hopkinton and Mrs. Herman (Milly) Welter of Monticello. Casketbearers were Edward, CarJ, Leo, Marcus, Ronald and Douglas Offerman.

Lester Paul Crim had been married to Florence F. Lo Rang and together they had one child William Louis "Bill" Crim. Bill was born August 3, 1932. and had two children: James Crim and Anita (Tom Wallace) Crim - both of Madison at the time of Bill's death.
